Strengthening international perspectives – fostering academic exchange
The FFVT Fellowship Programme supports international researchers in the field of Forced Migration and Refugee Studies by connecting them with leading research institutions in Germany. The programme aims to deepen transnational academic exchange, promote knowledge transfer, and foster long-term international collaborations in this field.
The programme is open to postdoctoral researchers and established scholars with a strong academic track record in relevant areas. The fellowship at bicc is also open to early-career researchers (from the second year of their PhD onwards).
Please note, that we also accept self-funded scholars.
Research stays at bicc in Bonn (up to two months) or IMIS in Osnabrück (two weeks)

Fellows will also benefit from additional networking opportunities with other FFVT partners such as CHREN, as well as with external institutions in Germany
